One of the rising folk singers in the music scene, Rinku’s rise to fame has been fast.
Rinku’s songs represent the very essence and fragrance of rural Bangladesh. In-short, Rinku has been playing an important role in popularising folk songs among the young generation.
Since he made his debut in the music scene in 2005, Rinku has released six solo-albums, till date.
Rinku’s introduction to media happened through the 2005 Close up 1. He grabbed the attention of the audience for his vibrant rendition of Kanar haat-bazar, a Lalon song.
After Close up Rinku never looked back and so began Rinku’s journey to the musical arena.
For Mosiur Rahman widely known as Rinku, music is something to which he was introduced at a very early age. Recalling his days, Rinku says, “I was always inspired by my family especially by my maternal uncle, Rabiul Awal to learn music. I received my first lessons of music from him.”
Speaking about his albums and songs, Rinku says, “Since 2006 I have released six albums: Baul Mon (2006), Kanar Haat (2007), Gaanpagla (2008), Hawar Gari (2009), Fokir Lalon Boley (2010) and Bibagi (2011).”
